The ninth annual Tulip and Pansies: The Headdress Affair, a benefit for VillageCare was held on May 20, 2010. VillageCare is a non-profit in New York that provides healthcare for people living with HIV/AIDS. Kelly Cutrone co-chaired the event with Ariana Rockefeller. Cutrone owns People's Revolution, a PR firm, and is the star of her own reality show on Bravo, "Kell on Earth." Designers such as Tracy Reese, Betsey Johnson, and The Blonds participated with others at the event. DKNY and House of Holland showed their vibrant colored dresses and extreme headdresses made out of hundreds of dollars worth of flowers. They used flowers such as orchids, peonies, and roses.The floral couture was shown on a runway with models that ranged from the drag queens of The Imperial Court of New York to legendary model Pat Cleveland, who stole the show with her theatrical sashay down the runway.
